Self and Calling

Coded in our DNA is the blueprint for everything we are to become. Everyone comes into this life with the tools that will unlock the mystery of the Self. Just making the decision to discover your calling is the first and most important step in the process.
Since we are co-creators of our reality, whatever we intend or place our focus on will eventually come into being.
Although it can be very frustrating, finding your purpose
 will be the most rewarding of all endeavors. 

Inner Work

There are very effective ways to assist you in this process such as; prayer, meditation, and dream work. There are many websites today that can give you information on the different styles and methods. It is good to find one you feel comfortable with, so you will stick with it. One major step on the path is releasing the ego's grip on our thoughts and actions and allowing our higher self to give us direction. Since the ego is a construct of our minds it only has power in the material world. To choose to live from Spirit is to follow the path of least resistance. When you get feedback from your higher self, or spirit, trust it. Even if doesn't make the most rational or financial sense to yourself or others. What matters most, is if what your feeling led toward feels true to you.
 Our truth is another way to say our story,
and it is exclusively ours. It isn't right or wrong, it just is.
 
Why should I discover my life's purpose?

The ultimate reason for all this ‘inner work’ is to be a fully integrated hu-man being. The feeling that something is missing in our life is the need to awaken our Spirit and allow it to merge into what we do in the material world. Once we are able to wake up each day and be fully present and love what we do as a vocation, we will own the treasure that so many people never find.

Vision Quest

 As we look for purpose and direction it is important to ask the right questions. One place to start is to look at your talents, interests, passions, inspirations, goals and dreams. A generic definition of 'higher calling' is basically to create what we love. After we learn what it is, the next step is to find out how to pass it along to the world. Once that is accomplished the Universe will respond by aligning people, places, and events to support you. This is what it means to take a leap of faith. Each self-actualized person makes a huge contribution to the healing of the planet. Those of us who believe we can make a difference are already doing it. Just having the intention to make the world a better place we are creating a 'future pull' for ourselves that will unfold perfectly in time. Globally speaking, our higher purpose is to coexist in a way that brings peace and harmony to all life on the planet.
